Orthodontic Services

  • Have you completed orthodontic therapy as a teen and forgot to wear your retainers?

  • Are you teeth shifting, crooked, crowded, misaligned, spaced out?

  • Are you uninterested in reliving your teenage years with brackets and wires?

Invisalign Clear Aligner Therapy may be for you! Invisalign works faster, fits better and is highly effective at moving teeth. They are very convenient, comfortable to wear, and and nearly invisible!

Invisalign

Unlike traditional braces, which use a pulling method to move teeth, Invisalign works by pushing teeth into the desired positions. This makes for a gentler, more comfortable process. Depending on your case, SmartForce Attachments may be needed. SmartForce Attachments are small tooth-colored shapes that function like handles, giving aligners something to gently push on. They are attached to your teeth before or during your Invisalign treatment. Our patients love that the clear aligners are nearly invisible!

At your first appointment, Dr. Reeh will visit with you for a one-on-one consultation to discuss your orthodontic needs and evaluate if Invisalign is right for you. At your consultation, we encourage you to let our team know your goals for your smile as well as any concerns you have about the treatment process. We’ll go over everything in detail and answer all your questions. We will take intra-oral and extra-oral images and impressions of your teeth as they currently are. The lab will use our prescription and impressions to create a clin-check which is a digital representation of the movement that will occur during your treatment. Dr. Reeh will approve this clin-check with you and make any changes that may be needed prior to ordering you trays.  Once we approve your clin-check we will order your trays and you will come in for a quick fitting and instructions. We will send you home with your first two sets of trays to wear on the schedule we recommend. Switch out your trays approximately every two weeks, and visit our office every four to six weeks to receive the next trays in the series. You will be finish with treatment and showing off your new smile in no time!

Retainers

Most doctors recommend that anyone who has completed orthodontic treatment, whether with braces or Invisalign treatment, use a retainer to prevent teeth from gradually shifting back toward their initial position. Your doctor will give you specific instructions on how often you need to wear your retainers. Typically, you wear your first set full time, then based on your doctor’s recommendation you may gradually reduce how much you wear them until you only wear them at night.
